SPS B-Train measurements

The SPS Main Dipoles are measured by the B-Train system, which consists of one MBA and one MBB magnet powered in series with the underground magnets.

The measurement system is built on an induction coil (fluxmeter) through the aperture of both magnets, to measure relative flux. The absolute field is provided by an NMR probe placed in the magnet (though there technically are 4 NMRs in the measurement system, 3 of them are broken).
