Meeting topics
The main topic of the meeting was to assess the possibility apply the B-Train NMR marker at other times in the SPS cycles other than at injection when the field crosses 1100G.
Outcome
After experimenting with extending the marker window across the whole cycle, or putting it on the downramp at the end of the cycle, it is concluded that it is not possible to apply the marker other than at the beginning of the cycle with the current implementation of the B-Train.
This is due to the the peak detection algorithm of the B-Train FESA class that analyzes the NMR frequency response, which computes the gradient of the signal to find the peak. Even though the downramp has a more prominent and wider peak, it is not sharp enough to be detected by the FESA class, so the marker is not applied.
