Precycling magnets
It is important to precycle magnets to reset the magnet to stable hysteresis loop, to put one on an always predictable magnetic state.
Normally the magnets should be cycled to with a straight ramp, plateau for a few seconds for the eddy currents to decay completely, ramp down, plateau, and a good rule is to cycle 10 times.
