Parallel MD 2025-08-22

LHC fill 08-09:30, then beam set up.

RF used our MD cycle so all settings are screwed up. OP try to hep me set up.

At 11:00 we find out the MQ on the preceeding MD1 (actually MD3) are not pulsing. Mains tripped 10:53 :)

Mains back, beam goes through and looks beautiful. we are at 1.7e12 intensity. Flatten MD1 at 11:13.

Chroma measurements at 12:00:00. 11:55:34 to 11:59:22 with chirp. 12:05:33 to 12:11:33 without chirp.

Step size 0.2 permil dp/p. Change to 0.1.

12:12:30 - 12:23:44.

Try to increase QH.

12:50:45 chroma measurement without chirp, good tune separation. Finish at 13:09:32.

Unflatten MD1 at 13:16:30.

Can’t get very nice tune reading with -4 permil dp/p, so we go for -3 to 3. Start chroma measurement 13:31:00. finished 13:47:19.
