Client:
- Migration from PyJAPC to PyDA, better asynchronous performance for GET/SET.
- Re-write of GUI as the existing one is unmaintainable, migrate from matplotlib to pyqtgraph/accgraph.
- Modularize clientside code, headless API, GUI elements, device configurations, main applications.
UCAP:
- Node to be upgraded to v3
- Migration to CCS device definition over time
- No significant changes to the transformation foreseen
- Investigation of OpenMP performance on UCAP Node
- FYI: UCAP GUI by Michi
- Potentially split each UCAP device into one for each timeframe.
- Lajos has left UCAP team
Acquisition
No changes foreseen. This should work. To be verified.
LSA
No changes foreseen. UCAP will support “settable” properties, but for now virtual LSA device works better.
Longitudinal tomography
No changes foreseen, as long as it is still installable from Acc-Py.
