Hej, I’m Anton from Sweden. Before I joined CERN, I would never have imagined one could work here as an engineer. Yet here I am today, working as a doctoral student in the field of data science and engineering to automate the operation of the particle accelerators.
Being at CERN has been an incredible experience for me, not only through professional collaborations but also by meeting people from diverse cultures and disciplines. I also feel enriched by the many young minds I have met through my outreach activities, where I can share my passion and inspire them to explore the world of science.
I feel privileged to experience these opportunities and hope CERN continues to create opportunities like the ones I’ve been given and empower future generations of engineers and scientists, enabling them to develop their expertise and strengthen their ability to collaborate and innovate on a global scale.
